Back in 2020 when I was living alone through the first lockdown and hadn’t seen a single familiar face in months, my friend Oli (from Snow Ghosts / Sex Swing / Meet Me in St. Louis) asked for the stems to a couple of tracks on my album Failures. One day he sent me a remix of Brooklyn that stopped me in my tracks. He also sent a reworking of my song Peckham. I walked around a lake near my house and listened to them over and over again and everything felt hopeful again somehow, through a haze of melancholy that I finally knew would one day lift. We would love you to have them, here you go.
